Dear Jon,

As is now customary, the CINP and IPP will be hosting a joint session on the
first morning of the CAP Congress. This year that will be at the University of
Alberta on Monday, June 15. We are inviting you to make a presentation on
recent developments at TRIUMF including CAPTURE, the status of the TRIUMF 5
year plan and any issues related to the federal budget, upcoming CFI and other
experimental requests drawing upon TRIUMF resources, and other news including
science highlights. Although in last few years the Scientific Director has been
designated by the Director to present for TRIUMF, we feel it would be valuable
for our communities to have an opportunity to hear directly from the
Director. We have allocated a 35’ time slot for TRIUMF, which is to include
time for questions and discussion. Please let us know if you'll be able to
attend and give a presentation.

For your information, the joint session schedule is planned as follows:

Monday June 15
 8:30 - 9:05 NSERC SAP ES Chair's Report
Presenter: Stefan Westerhoff (SAP ES Chair)

Presenter: Guy Levesque, Director of Programs CFI
 9:25 - 10:00 TRIUMF Director's Report
    Presenter: Jonathan Bagger (TRIUMF)

    Presenter: Nigel Smith (SNOLab)
10:25 - 10:45 Subatomic Physics Long Range Plan

As the meeting gets closer we'll set up an INDICO page for this session and
would ask you to provide a copy of your slides before the presentation so they
can be made available to the participants during the session.

We are looking forward to seeing you in Edmonton,

Michael and Garth
